Our 2026 summer program comprises continuation classes, four-day themed children’s camps, a multi-format intensive, and a week of open ballet class.
Continuation Classes
Monday, June 1-Thursday, June 11
In a small class that feels like a semi-private lesson, dancers receive the kind of personalized RAD instruction that's hard to find anywhere else—sharpening skills and exploring new exercises at the perfect pace for a busy June schedule. Note that levels are based on 2025-2026 class placement.

Children’s Camps
These four-day, theme-based camps for boys and girls include high-quality, age-appropriate dance instruction, crafts, and storytelling. Fun choreography will promote rhythm and musicality while introducing foundational ballet movements. No prior experience necessary! Dancers may wear comfy clothes, ballet attire, or costumes. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to join us for a short performance on the last day of camp.
Ballet at the Beach: June 2, 4, 9, 11 | 3:30-4:45 p.m. | ages 3-6 | with Miss Stephanie
Welcome the summer season and experience one of our ballet camps during the school year. $100
Fairytale Fantasy: June 22-25 | 9:00-9:45 a.m. | ages 2.5-4 | with Miss Stephanie
This timeless theme will prepare our youngest princes and princesses to dance at the royal ball. $60
Bluey Ballet: July 13-16 | 9:00-10:30 | ages 3-5 | with Miss Stephanie
Preschoolers will prance and pretend with dance movements inspired by our favorite pup. $125
Carnival in the Clouds: July 13-16 | 10:45-1:45 | ages 6-9 | with Miss Stephanie & Miss Adeline
Soar through tap and ballet routines inspired by sky-high fun. Tap and ballet shoes required. Bring a lunch! $200
Animal Adventures: July 27-30 | 9:00-9:45 | ages 2.5-4 | with Miss Sara
Little ones will leap, stomp, and flutter as they discover ballet through the movements of their favorite animals. $60
Mermaid Magic: July 27-30 | 10:00-11:30 | ages 4-6 | with Miss Sara
Dive into an enchanting underwater world to learn ballet techniques through ocean-themed choreography. $125
Winter Wonderland: August 17-20 | 9:00-10:30 | ages 3-6 | with Miss Stephanie
Let it go and glide through a frozen kingdom inspired by our favorite winter princesses and their snowman. $125
Marquee Mix-up: August 17-20 | 10:45-2:45 | ages 7-10 | with Miss Stephanie
Take center stage with the best of ballet, jazz, and musical theater. Beginners welcome. Bring a lunch! $250
Dance Intensive
June 22-25, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Dancers 10+ can deepen their practice or prepare for their first class in the fall. Learn new ballet choreography from Miss Ann, tap with Miss Angie, build technique through Pilates and yoga with Miss Stephanie, and explore improvisation with a special guest instructor! Bring lunch. $350
Lunch Break Ballet
July 27-30, 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
This week, Miss Sara is teaching open ballet classes that will build strong technique and increase performance confidence. Pre-pointe and pointe work included. Open to dancers 10+. $100
Summer Program FAQs

If you must cancel, you may apply your payment to another summer session (space allowing) 2 weeks before your session is scheduled to begin. Just email us at spokanestudioofdance@gmail.com. Payments are non-refundable within 2 weeks before the scheduled start date.

Payment for Children’s Camps are made at the time of online registration with a credit card or ACH transfer. If you would rather pay by cash or check, or in installments, please let us know. Invoices will be sent to current students registering for continuation classes, the intensive and “lunch break ballet” with Miss Sara.

Our summer program will help current dancers avoid the “summer slide” and prepare for a strong start to the dance year. A summer camp is also the perfect introduction for any child who would like to do dance as a summer activity or try it out before committing to classes in the fall.

We determine this on a class-by-class basis; please know our schedule is subject to change due to enrollment.

Children 9 and younger are welcome to wear whatever they feel most comfortable in. Ballet shoes are recommended, and participants in our Carnival in the Clouds Camp will need a pair of tap shoes.
In ballet classes for dancers 10+, participants will need to wear a leotard and ballet tights with ballet shoes. For other dance formats and yoga, shorts or jazz pants and a comfortable top are acceptable.

45-, 75-minute, and 90-minute children’s camps: Please bring a filled water bottle, but leave snacks at home.
Carnival in the Clouds & Marquee Mix-up camps: Participants will need tap shoes AND ballet shoes for this Carnival in the Clouds! For Marquee Mix-ups, participants need ballet shoes and can bring jazz shoes if they have them. Please bring a filled water bottle and a sack lunch. We will communicate any restrictions related to allergies in a pre-camp email.
Dance Intensive: Please bring a filled water bottle and a sack lunch. Phones should be left in a dance bag in the basement.
